homeopathic medicine that is made from tincture of viscum album
(extract of the European mistletoe plant.) It is listed with the
FDA in accordance with their requirements for homeopathic medicines.
ISCADOR/ISCAR®by WELEDA is the original
mistletoe medicine for cancer that was first marketed in Switzerland
in 1917.
- Nowadays in Europe, mistletoe is a key component in conventional
cancer treatments, so rather than an alternative medicine, it
is a complementary treatment that is frequently prescribed by
oncologists in addition to conventional cancer therapies like
radiation, surgery and chemotherapy. In Germany, 60% of cancer
